Current events, from Meg:
Hello, Beautiful People! Now that the official PR campaign for The Way The World Knew Her is finished, I'm turning my focus inward and making lots of space for creativity. I'm incredibly fortunate to be able to send that creative energy out in so many directions! Here's what's in store for the Summer...
I'll be taking time to continue to settle into my new Nashville home (I bought a house in November)! Gonna plant some flowers, and swing in the trees. Practice listening to the birds, watching the hawk circle above the tall pines, sitting and staring out the window at this beautiful piece of Mother Earth I've been blessed to steward for a while. Play with Charlie (my sweet, sweet Goldendoodle girl), watch my cat Pearl consider the world from her gorgeous blue Himalayan eyes. Move my body more. Love my friends and family. You know, the important things.
I am, and will always be, writing. Songs of course, and I also have a memoir in progress, as well as a musical I've been working on for a couple of years.
I'll be creating opportunities to share my passion for Internal Family Systems (see my IFS page) with the artist community in Nashville through workshop and retreat offerings.
I'm not totally stepping away from performing, and am planning small solo tours (clubs and house concerts) for the Summer months. Of course I'll keep y'all posted on socials about that as well as updating the site!
The Fall will bring me into the next big project - the new album! I have some great material for it already, and am very excited to see what continued writing and co-writing might offer.
There's lots alive right now, and I'm so happy to be here for it all!!!
I'm grateful every day for the gifts and the privileges I've been given to live this creative life in this amazing artist community.
Thank you for taking an interest in what's alive for me, and how I might offer it to you. My purpose is always to make art to help bring us (you and me) back to ourselves and what's possible right now.
See you soon, I hope.
Meg
