It's late, and I'm exhausted. But it was a great show. The band was fantastic, and we had such a good time on stage. We alternated covers with originals from the record, and the flow of the set list was great. Stage mix was good except for some guitar feedback and a missing sound guy. (Crazy-making.)

Turn out was lower than I'd hoped, but what we lacked in numbers, the people there made up for in enthusiasm. We had about 100, and it was a great crowd. There was a lot going on that night, with The Rolling Stones in Buffalo, Peter Frampton and Kenny Chesney also in town. So I know I lost a bunch of people to those shows, which I totally get. But again, those that came gave me everything they had in terms of support, and I'll take that any day. Some of the people at this show have been with me as fans for over 20 years. Now that's loyalty. Love you guys...
We gave away cds to the first 100 people and Kickstarter backers got in free, so I lost a little money on the show after food, sound, and venue got paid. One part of me is bummed about that, but the rest of me says, it was worth every penny. And the icing on the cake? My boys in the band wouldn't take any money from me. Said they just wanted to support me, and they knew I'd taken a loss.
There are good people. A lot of them. Thank you to all of you for such a great night.
I don't have the energy to tell you about the missing $200 from the bank envelope, but stay tuned for that...
I had the show videotaped, so I'll post some when I get it. In the meantime, here are a couple pics. (Thanks to Colleen Pearce!)
